 Academic qualifications and requirements

Applicants for teaching jobs must have the necessary academic qualifications, professional experience, publications, leadership, and administrative skills for their desired cadre.

Chief Lecturer (CONPCASS 9)

Applicants must have:

  • A PhD with at least 15 years of experience,
  •  Master’s degree and at least 18 years of experience

Candidates must also demonstrate:

  • Minimum of three years as a principal lecturer.
  •  Journal Publications
  •  Conference Papers
  •  Academic leadership.
  •  Community service.
  •  Membership of relevant professional bodies

Principal Lecturer (CONPCASS 8)

Requirements include:

  •  A PhD and at least 12 years of experience, or
  •  Master’s degree and at least 15 years of experience

Senior Lecturer (CONPCASS-7)

Applicants must have:

  • A PhD and at least six years of experience,
  •  Master’s degree and at least eight years of experience

Lecturer III (CONPCASS-3)

 Assistant Lecturer (ConPCASS 2)

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower
  •  NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

  •  Relevant HND, FTC, or comparable credentials
  •  NYSC certificate, when appropriate.
  •  Provide relevant professional experience or certifications.

Non-Teaching Staff Requirements
