Local government of origin form to be signed only by one of the following
- An air force military officer who is from the same state of origin as the applicant and he/she is not below the rank of a wing commander in the NAF or a higher or equal rank in the Nigerian Army or Nigerian Navy
- A police officer from the same State of origin as the applicants of the rank of assistant commissioner and above
- Local government chairman/ secretary
- Magistrates from applicant States
Passport photographs and photocopy of a signed driver’s license or national ID card or international passport must come alongside the local government area at a station form.
Note: The application portal will prevent invalid applicants from accessing these forms above.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be in Nigerian citizen by birth
- The permitted ages are ages between 20 and 30 years of age while medical doctors’ consultant could be between the ages of 25 and 40 years notes as at the time of application
- Current serving Personnel who is above the age of 32 years of age can not apply because the exercise is not for saving personnel desiring branch Commission
- Applicants who are serving personnel must secure a commander’s recommendation, with at least 10 years of service and the rank of Cpl. as prerequisites.
- The required Hight is 1.66m tall for males and 1.63 tall for females
- All conviction and criminal record of Applicant must be clean and in good record
- Applicants must demonstrate medical and psychological fitness, and the NAF will evaluate them against its medical and employment criteria.
The registration is open to all applicant from any of the 36 states of the federal republic of Nigeria

Professional/Academic qualification
- A minimum of second-class upper division for holders of first degree
- For HND a minimum of upper credit
- Computer literacy and MSc/MA will be an added advantage
- Credit in Mathematics and English language in O level is a must
- 3 addition credit in your O level results in subjects related to your course of study
- NYSC certificate or NYSC exception latter must have been gotten at the time of application
- Medical applicants are required to submit certificates of registration issued by their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria.
Deadline
The only registration opens today 27th of November 2025 and closes Tuesday 7th October 2025
Candidates should prepare for the zonal general aptitude test, which the NAF will schedule and announce after registration and shortlisting.
