Requirements for Admission
Selected candidates must report with the original copies of their credentials. These documents are non-negotiable and must be presented for verification:
- First School Leaving Certificate
- Primary School Testimonial
- NECO/WAEC result
- Senior Secondary School Testimonial
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Letter/Certificate of State of Origin
The Academy will not admit any candidate who fails to present the originals of these documents.
Items to Bring
In addition to presenting academic credentials, cadets must bring personal items for use during their training, including but not limited to:
- Two pairs of black and white trousers
- One lounge suit (dark colour)
- A pair of national dress
- Two belts (preferably black)
- A pair of black cover shoes
- Two pairs of white canvas shoes (not tight)
- Two pairs of brown canvas (not tight)
- Black rubber-strapped digital quartz wristwatch
- Sportswear (football boots, hockey stick, swimming trunk)
- Two white bed sheets and pillowcases
- Pressing iron and personal laptop
- Toiletries, shaving kit, polish, and brushes
Additional Requirements for Female Cadets
Female candidates must also bring:
- One pair of black low-heeled cover shoes
- Four lounge skirts (dark colours)
- Four pairs of black or blue short tights
- Two trouser suits
Training Rules and Restrictions
- Newly admitted cadets will not be allowed to receive visitors for the first three months of training.
- They will also not be permitted to leave the Academy during this period.
- Compliance with all NDA rules and regulations is mandatory.

JAMB Requirements
To validate their admission, all selected candidates must:
- Upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal.
- Accept their admission on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Failure to complete these steps may result in withdrawal of admission.
